On Wednesday 27th August the Deysbrook Village Centre organised 2 day trips out of the community for a group of 30+ pensioners.

The trips were to Llangollen (North wales) and Cleveleys (Lancashire).

Both groups had a really good time and the trips were part funded through the LNF (Local Neighbourhood Fund).

So far in 2025 the Deysbrook Village Centre have facilitated 4 subsidised day trips for pensioners and vunerable adults to various places of their choice. We have our final day trip planned to Bury Market in November (to visit the Christmas Market).

The trips are extremely beneficial to our centre users because they enable people to socialise, visit different places and create new friendships.
