Pensioners Christmas Party December 11th

The Deysbrook Village Centre absolutely love this time of year and one of the highlights of the Christmas party period is our pensioners/adults christmas 3 course meal.

This was a big event and this year we are pleased to say we were able to provide a cooked christmas dinner to 92 people.

The group were also entertained by a fantastic Comedian/singer Jill Ross, who has the whole room in raptures.

Each year we have volunteers from YOT team, a local barrister, fundraising from priority youth and our own valuable volunteers. Nevertheless, Barclays Bank sent along 13 members of their team to help out for the day. They were truly brilliant and enabled our own volunteers to actually sit down and have a meal too.

We all had a wonderful day. A massive thanks to CLLR John Prince for providing some of the funding for the party from the LNF (local neighbourhood fund).
