Senior Citizens Day Trips, Summer 2024

During the 6 weeks summer holidays the Deysbrook Village Centre has taken out over 20 senior citizens on day trips to Bury market and Llandudno. There are a further 2 trips planned in September to Clevelys and in November to Bury market for Christmas shopping.

The trips have been very well attended over the years and a lot of our vunerable, isolated senior citizens have had the opportunity to get away from their own community for the day and share fun and a meal with friends in a different place. The Deysbrook village centre heavily subsidise the trips to ensure those that most need the experience can come along. The trips help with a persons mental health and well being and also help the most vunerable and isolated to widen their circle of friends and create a network of support.
